Mingle instructor appointed to the Real Estate Educators Association Distinguished Real Estate Instructors Council

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dana Rhodes, MAED, DREI, CDEI and National Association of Realtors® (NAR) Master Instructor for the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association’s Mingle School of Real Estate, has been appointed by the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA) to the 2018 Distinguished Real Estate Instructors (DREI) Leadership Council.  The DREI designation was created by REEA to set the standard for excellence in real estate classroom instruction. Real estate instructors with this designation exhibit a mastery of subject matter, proven presentation ability, relevant experience and superior teaching skills. The DREI Leadership Council consists of six DREI designees. There are only 88 DREIs worldwide.

In addition, Rhodes earned the REEA Gold Standard at the 2018 REEA Annual Conference.  The Gold Standard is awarded after completion of a three-part Instructor Development Workshop that is designed to enhance instructor delivery and improve student learning.

Rhodes, a veteran real estate educator and broker, has been involved in the industry for more than 35 years and teaches broker pre-licensing, post-licensing and continuing education courses at the Mingle School of Real Estate. He has a Master’s Degree in Adult Education. He is also approved on the national level to teach several designation courses, including the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) courses and the At Home With Diversity certification course. Rhodes has previously been recognized as Educator of the Year (2009) by the NC Real Estate Educators Association (NCREEA) and is also a recipient of the NC Real Estate Commission’s Billie J. Mercer Excellence in Education Award (2009).
