CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sandy Williams, DREI, CDEI, an instructor with the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association’s Mingle School of Real Estate, was awarded Program of the Year by the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association (NCREEA) for the elective course, "Tackling What Ifs: Potential Obstacles on the Field," a course that she co-authored with Attorney Rick S. Poe, Esq.

Williams, a veteran real estate instructor and broker, has been teaching broker pre-licensing, post-licensing and continuing education courses for more than 22 years. She is an active member of NCREEA, where she has held every office in the organization. "Tackling What Ifs: Potential Obstacles on the Field" is a four-hour interactive continuing-education course that was created to educate licensees about the legal pitfalls they could encounter when representing buyers or sellers in a transaction. The course fills an educational need as agents find themselves challenged more frequently on completing legally-enforceable contracts that involve estates, corporations, LLCs and partnerships, trusts and other complicated scenarios.

Karyn Lindsey, vice president of education and director of the Mingle School of Real Estate, said, "Sandy’s commitment to real estate education is more than apparent in her love of teaching and her desire for the success of her students. Mingle is privileged to have such innovative instructors whi are armed with the ability to create courses compliant with NCREC education requirements that also meet the needs of students in a rapidly-changing real estate world.”

The Mingle School of Real Estate is the official school of real estate for the Charlotte Regional Realtor® Association and is one of the oldest and most successful real estate pre-licensing schools in North Carolina.  Its real estate and pre-licensing, post-licensing and continuing-education courses are approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC).
